Whether you're a newcomer to skating or have some basic knowledge, Level 1 caters to all. Level 1 is where you'll work towards mastering all single jumps. We'll help you achieve excellence in Waltz Jump, Salchow, Loop, Toe loop, Flip and Lutz off-ice.
VSA Jumps Academy offers students four weeks of intensive training and eight group off-ice sessions per month.
Who leads Single Jumps Club?
Coach Irene Every Saturday ($45/hour)
Irene is a certified skating coach, known for her mastery of triple-triple jump combinations. She’s a multiple winner at stages of the Russian Cup and has showcased her talents in various ice shows, including productions by Ilya Averbukh.
Coach Katherin Every Sunday ($45/hour)
Katherin is a figure skating coach with a 20 years of skating background in single figure skating. Katherin used to train under the guidance of an Olympic coach Alexei Mishin.

With a strong grasp of jump mechanics, terminology, and technique, you'll be well-prepared to progress to more advanced levels and continue your journey toward jump excellence.
1. Jump Mechanics
Gain a deep understanding of the mechanics behind single jumps, including takeoff, rotation, and landing.
2. Jump Terminology
Familiarize yourself with jump terminology and the specific requirements for each single jump, such as Waltz Jump, Salchow, Toe loop, Loop, Flip and Lutz.
3. Jump Preparation
Learn how to prepare for jumps off-ice, including proper warm-up routines and stretching exercises to prevent injuries.
4. Jump Technique
Practice the correct technique for each single jump, focusing on body position, rotation speed, and landing posture.
5. Jump Progression
Work through a structured progression, starting with the basics and gradually advancing to more complex single jumps.
6. Landing Mechanics
Master the art of landing with stability, minimizing the risk of injury during off-ice jump practice.
You will need
sneakers, a jump rope, an off-ice spinner (see on the picture - any of these) , stable Internet connection and some space.
